I have always been a list maker. I can’t function without my list. Every night before I go to to bed, I make of list of my tasks for the next day.  I base my daily task list on what I have time to accomplish. It gives me such a sense of accomplishment to stay on top of things..personal and professional.

Spring is here or so we thought. I spent all day yesterday helping a couple purge and pack their winter clothes. Then I drove off and the snow started. OOOPS!!

I love everything about Chicago except the crazy weather and tiny closets. When they say everything is bigger in Texas..believe them. I miss my huge closets. In order to combat the problem, most people flip their closets in the spring. Depending on space(if you have an attic or basement), I recommend packing away the off season clothes. If you dont have additional space, an under the bed bin will work fine.

Your in love..whether you are tying the knot or just moving in…chances are you both have a household full of stuff. So in order to start out your blessed union on a happy note..you need Arranged By Erin. For those of you that have big families and spend alot of time sorting socks and underclothing…there is a way to make it easier. The container store sells different colored mesh laundry bags. Each child can have their own bag in a different color. These bags go straight from washer to dryer. When your laundry is done, all you have to do is fold what is in the bag. No more sorting though multiple size for different kids.

We all have things we need to store. So where should it go? Well for one..deep storage areas such as attics and basements should be used to things that are rarely used or memory items. Places like garages and storage closets should be used to items that are used and you need to get to. Everyone has different space, so its important to idenify what works for you.

So many times we feel guilty because we spend money on something that we dont like or have a use for. Instead of keeping it…give it to a friend.
